balconies dolphincove is owned and operated by Rosie Bunton.  I moved here from Sydney in June 2018 after holidaying on the beautiful Sapphire Coast for many years.  Prior to that, I spent most of my childhood and half my adult life living overseas and am very much a people person.   I have had a long-held dream of running a B&B and my dream has now become a reality.   I have adult children and grandchildren living locally, so I’m emotionally invested in this area.  Various family members will be helping me with the Bed & Breakfast so it is truly a family venture.  My 2 moggie cats, Sylvie and Cabbage will also help out welcoming guests (and Cabbage might even hop in your car when you depart, so please check the boot and back seat!)

An exciting addition to the property is Dolphin Cove Therapies, operating from the newly decorated Treatment Room, where we offer massage – both Swedish and Remedial as well as Integrated Healing, which encompasses a number of different modalities such as kinesiology (muscle testing) and NLP to find the best pathway to healing.  We also hope to be able to offer a number of other modalities.

We can also offer private/couples yoga sessions on site with a local teacher.

Down the track, I hope to be able to offer women’s retreats/health weekends with workshops in nutrition, rawfooding and keffir brewing as well as yoga and meditation.

Where are you in Tura Beach?

is located at 336 Pacific Way, Tura Beach 2548, just off Sapphire Coast Drive approx. 6kms north of Merimbula.

Do you have a restaurant on site?
No, but we have a bar-b-q for guests’ use near the pool area where you can prepare your own food.  Each room has a microwave and toaster as well as kettle and coffee machine. We don’t supply food hampers etc.

What do you serve for breakfast?- We change our menus daily – the choices include home-made  crunchy granola and juices followed by a choice of Fruit Platter, Eggs Benedict, Scrambled Eggs and Smoked Salmon, Full Breakfast, Blueberry Pancakes with Maple Syrup and Vanilla Yoghurt, BLAT (bacon, lettuce, avocado and tomato), Poached Eggs with avocado on sour dough plus a few daily specials. We serve breakfast from 8.30 – 9.00 daily in your Studio.

I have intolerances/special dietary needs/allergies – can you cater for them? – If you let us know in advance we can generally cater for most dietary needs.

Is there parking at balconies dolphin? – We have ample off-street parking – once you’ve checked in you’ll be advised where to park.

How big is the outdoor swimming pool? – It’s approx. 7m long x 4m wide – it’s solar heated so temperatures can vary.

What is there to see and do in Tura Beach and the surrounding areas? – Dolphin Cove Beach is an 8 minute walk, with miles of golden sand and very few people!  Also in the area:  many other beaches, pool and beachl swimming, surfing, kayaking, boat hire,  fishing, gyms, horse riding, cycling, walking, relaxing, beauty treatments, manicures and pedicures, wineries, galleries, nurseries, shopping, markets, gardens, eating, drinking, bushwalking, golf, tennis scenic flights, sky diving and seasonal whale watching.

Can you recommend any Day Spa –  We have our very own Dolphin Cove Therapies Treatment Room for on-site massages as well as a list of local Day Spas and can provide suggestions and recommendations.

Can I have a massage in my Studio? – Unfortunately not. The Studios aren’t suitable for in-room massage.  Dolphin Cove Therapies Treatment Room is only a few steps away from your Studio.

What time is check in and check out? – Check in is from 2 – 6pm or by arrangement – we use key safes and will contact you on your mobile phone on the morning of your arrival to arrange key collection. Check out is 10am.

Do you have tea and coffee making facilities in the Studios? – Yes, a good selection is in each Studio together with a kettle, coffee pod machine and fresh milk.

Are there fridges in the Studios? – We have a stocked minibar fridge in each Studio with complimentary mineral water.

Can we cook and/or eat in our Studio? – Each Studio has a microwave and toaster. Guests can use the bar-b-q near the pool area. Each Studio has a dining table and chairs both inside and on the balcony.

Are the Studios serviced during our stay? – We service the Studios on the 3rd day of your stay – so if you’re staying 2 nights or less we don’t service the Studios.

Can I purchase gift vouchers for balconies dolphincove? – We offer personalised gift vouchers which are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Please contact us for further details.

Do you have any disabled facilities? –  Two of the Studios are on the same level as the driveway/parking area/main entry so if guests have limited mobility we can accommodate them. We don’t have any facilities suitable for wheelchair users.

It’s a special occasion – can I arrange to have flowers etc. in my Studio? –  We LOVE special occasions!  We’re happy to order flower arrangements for the Studios –  Please give us plenty of notice to order these. We can also offer Australian sparkling wine and chocolates at a  reasonable price.

Do any of the rooms have views and balconies? – Yes all Studios have a small, sunny north facing balcony overlooking the landscaped gardens and the pool – with a table setting for 2 guests.

We have a baby/young child/dog? – Unfortunately balconies dolphincove isn’t suitable for babies, children under 15 years of age or for pets.
