Balconies Dolphin Cove is owned and operated by Peter and Katrina Berenguer who are passionate about sharing the natural beauty of the pristine Sapphire Coast.


Peter and Katrina look forward to welcoming guests to their beautiful purpose-built boutique B&B which is an ideal place to relax, get away from it all and reconnect with nature. It is just a short distance from magnificent surfing beaches, beautiful recreational waterways, peaceful forest walks, stunning restaurants and boutique shops. There is so much to enjoy!


Combining style, comfort and unique hospitality, Balconies Dolphin Cove features three beautifully furnished, spacious Studio rooms with sunny, compact north facing balconies overlooking landscaped gardens featuring wood sculptures by Peter Berenguer and a heated outdoor pool with native bush beyond.

  • Where are you in Tura Beach?

    Balconies Dolphin Cove is located at 336 Pacific Way, Tura Beach 2548, just off Sapphire Coast Drive approximately 6kms north of Merimbula.

  • Do you have a restaurant on site?

    No, but we have a BBQ for guests’ use near the pool area. Each room has a microwave and toaster as well as kettle and coffee machine. 

  • What do you serve for breakfast?

    We change our menus daily – the choices include honey Greek yoghurt, muesli and fresh  juices, followed by a choice of hot breakfast including scrambled eggs and smoked salmon, bacon and eggs with slow roasted tomatoes, pancakes with maple syrup with fresh blueberries and banana, and smashed avocado and feta cheese with poached eggs  on Turkish bread, plus a few daily specials. We serve breakfast from 7.30am – 9.00am daily in your Studio.

  • I have intolerances/special dietary needs/allergies – can you cater for them?

    If you let us know in advance we can generally cater for most dietary needs.

  • Is there parking at Balconies Dolphin Cove?

    We have ample off-street parking – once you’ve checked in you will be advised where to park.

  • How big is the outdoor swimming pool?

    It’s approximately 7m long x 4m wide and it’s heated at 27 degrees. 

  • What is there to see and do in Tura Beach and the surrounding areas?

    Dolphin Cove Beach is an 8-minute walk, with miles of golden sand and very few people! Also in the area:  many other beaches, pool and beach swimming, surfing, kayaking, boat hire, fishing, cycling, walking, relaxing, beauty treatments, manicures and pedicures, wineries, galleries, nurseries, shopping, markets, gardens, eating, drinking, bushwalking, golf, tennis, scenic flights, sky diving and seasonal whale watching.

  • What time is check in and check out?

    Check in is from 2.00pm – 6.00pm or by arrangement. Check out is 10am.

  • Do you have tea and coffee making facilities in the Studios?

    Yes, a good selection is in each Studio together with a kettle, coffee pod machine and fresh milk.

  • Are there fridges in the Studios?

    We have a small bar fridge which has 2 bottles of complimentary water.

  • Can we cook and/or eat in our Studio?

    Each Studio has a microwave and toaster. Guests can use the BBQ near the pool area. Each Studio has a dining table and chairs both inside and on the balcony.

  • Are the Studios serviced during our stay?

    We service the Studios on the 3rd day of your stay – so if you’re staying 2 nights we don’t service the Studios.

  • Do you have any disabled facilities?

    Two of the Studios are on the same level as the driveway/parking area/main entry so if guests have limited mobility we can accommodate them. We don’t have any facilities suitable for wheelchair users.

  • Do any of the rooms have views and balconies?

    Yes, all Studios have a small, sunny north facing balcony overlooking the landscaped gardens and the pool – with a table setting for 2 guests.

  • We have a baby/young child/dog?

    Unfortunately, Balconies Dolphin Cove isn’t suitable for babies and children under 15 years of age and pets are not permitted.
